SLJ considers the following criteria when selecting applicants to interview for the program:
a. Criminal or delinquency trial experience
b. Languages spoken
c. Contribution to panel diversity
d. Academic background
e. Possession of related skills
f. Writing skills
g. Demonstrated commitment to serving low-income populations
